David Cole

A Seattle native, David is an active performer, currently playing with Bellevue Philharmonic, Orchestra Seattle, Village Theatre, Pacific Brass and Cascadia Brass. He can be heard on Cascadia's 1995 CD 'A Christmas Celebration in Brass'.

In 2001, 2002 and 2003, David presented recitals in Augsburg, Pforzheim, Ebringen, and Breisach, Germany, performing on modern C, D, and piccolo trumpets as well as baroque trumpet. He also performs regularly with the St. Mary's Chamber Orchestra, a period instrument ensemble in Denver, Colorado.

After receiving a Master of Music Degree from Western Washington University in 1988, David performed and recorded with the Caribbean ensemble Jumbalassy, maintaining a 100+ engagements per year performing schedule until the band's breakup in 2001, as well as a private teaching studio. Recently, he has been locally active coaching for the Seattle Youth Symphony Marrowstone-in the-City program and teaching in the Northshore School District.
